Ellipse

Ellipse is a sculptural floor lamp.

The shades are made from metal sheets which are folded as a triangle in one corner. The shape comes when the rest of the circle curves beautifully. The result is an elegant shade with surprising elements.

Ellipse creates a special mood in any space through soft, indirect light, which is reflected from the surface. Inspiration for the two different sized shades came from traditional floor lamps, which also makes an interesting balance to the slim figure.

The light can be directed downwards or to a wall to create a more dramatic atmosphere.
